#135 6/26/19 Faith's Shoes, one more time

More shoe laces.....ugggh.  I'm on vacation, so I figure I can dedicate more time to figuring out how to get the laces to go down smoothly.  I did not figure it out, still just dinking around until they look passable.  One thing I noticed is that the laces look so much more realistic once I put the darkness in the eyelet hole.  It was definitely a blue day....blue in the hands background, blue in the baby shoes background, and blue in these shoes.  I practiced quite a bit mixing shades of blue, using the same palette all day (of course!)  This paining got good reviews from my extended family, with my sister-in-law Alisa asking if she could purchase it.  I told her I'd be honored to give it to her, no payment required!  Once it is dry enough to be varnished it will ship from Maryland out to California....and I can then claim that my paintings are collected "coast to coast"!
